Pop, folk, country and show music. Musical theatre through middle and high school, started writing after moving to Brooksville, and has been playing open mics ever since — including a songwriters' round and a third-place finish in an original song contest.

An Inverness Icon alum who has competed in all three seasons and finished top three last season. Comes from a family of singers and musicians.

Country. A songwriter and utility player who spent eight years in Nashville playing showcases, Broadway and the road. He wrote “St. Augustine,” which was picked up by over 100 radio stations.

Emmanuel Benitez
Emmanuel Benitez

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Emmanuel is a retired U.S. Coast Guard and New York Army National Guard veteran who served more than 22 years, including two in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A University of Virginia graduate in Media Studies, he's now pursuing his MFA in Acting at the University of Florida. He performs across theatre, film, improv, stand-up and music, and sings everything from rock and pop to classic karaoke favorites.

Hi, I'm Lady K — Karen Fowler. Nurse by day, singer-songwriter by night. I've been playing and singing on and off since I was old enough to hold a guitar. I've sung in gospel trios and bands, and over the last few years I've done many solo acoustic performances throughout the county.

Pop, rock, indie, R&B and country. A full-time professional vocalist and lead singer of the funk band Zenzi. She played her first musical at five, starred as Annie at twelve, won Hernando's Got Talent at thirteen, and by sixteen was singing on stages like Nashville's Troubadour and Chicago's Raue Center. Currently playing Wednesday Addams and gigging throughout Tampa and St. Pete.

Started as a teen singing worship at church, then a disco band, cover and wedding bands, a jazz trio at The Ritz-Carlton, and ten years with a swing band at Disneyland. Here in Florida she sings with Twysted Jazz and the Downing Street Big Band — you may have seen her at The Valerie or right at Twysted Vyne. Also a vocal coach who loves helping kids find their singing voice.

New to the Citrus County area, singing since age six with roots in the classical genre. Michael has performed with Palm Beach Opera and Florida Grand Opera, plus weddings and private events. His main focus is Broadway and anything Disney — and this is his first song competition.
