Country Night song selection is open. Pick your song, check it against the catalog, and get it in before the deadline — that's all you need to do. Contestants are randomly split across the two Country nights, and you'll be notified which night you perform on after your song is in.
Due midnight Thursday before your show
KaraFun only. Every backing track comes from the KaraFun catalog. Search it before you commit so you know the track exists and exactly which version you'll be singing to.
Keep it clean. All song choices need to be family friendly — no explicit lyrics.
Duplicates. For the first few weeks, two contestants may choose the same song. If that happens, whoever submitted second gets the option to switch rather than go head to head — that's what the backup field is for.
Your night. Week 1 and Week 2 are both Country. You don't pick — contestants are divided randomly between Tuesday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 15, and you'll be told which one once your song is submitted.
Deadline. Submissions close at midnight the Thursday before that week's show so tracks can be reviewed and pulled.
Your bye week. Every contestant gets one bye during the first five weeks — miss a night for any reason, no questions asked, no elimination. From week six on, attendance is required every week.
